Jack Londrigan to manage Mendoza’s 2022 re-election campaign for Comptroller

Londrigan brings experience, enthusiasm, and deep ties to central Illinois

SPRINGFIELD, IL — Comptroller Susana A. Mendoza is proud to announce that she has tapped Jack Londrigan, born and raised in Springfield, IL, to manage her 2022 re-election campaign. His first day as campaign manager is Friday, October 1, 2021.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Jack as my campaign manager,” Mendoza said. “I first took note of him in Urbana-Champaign when he was outreach director for the University of Illinois College Democrats. Since then, he has been an active and passionate campaign professional, working to help elect great candidates throughout the state. Most impressively, in 2020, Jack successfully managed State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel through a three-way primary and on to victory in the general election.”

Following 10 years as a state representative and five years as Chicago City Clerk, Mendoza was elected in 2016 to serve out the final two years of Judy Baar Topinka’s term. She won re-election with 60% of the vote in 2018.

“Comptroller Mendoza has put Illinois back on the right track financially, broken countless barriers, and been a strong advocate for all 102 counties of Illinois,” Londrigan said. “I am excited and honored to be managing her campaign for re-election in 2022.”
